Calvin Taylor was born and raised in Sumter, SC. Joined the Original Drifters in SC in 1979.

The Drifters played with BB King, Maurice Williams, Junior Walker and opened for national artists like Joe Cocker, B. B. King, Eddie Right and many more…Calvin also worked with former lead singer of Temptation, Dennis Edwards.

Calvin has performed solo and with his band around the east coast for several years, entertaining audiences from young to old.

He brings his great personality and incredible voice to every event.
