Dan Lotti’s songs are folk-driven, pop conscious, and rock-edged. With an innate sense of melody and rhythm, his writing combines emotional vocals with a rhythmic acoustic guitar.
While residing in Manhattan for two years, he was showcased by the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in their 50th New Writers’ Showcase. From that performance, his music was selected from dozens of other showcased artists to be compiled on the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame 3rd Annual New Writers’ CD compilation.
Since Dan’s return to Charleston, South Carolina, he has enjoyed radio interviews and the like, and the benefits of focusing solely on his craft, while performing nightly at local venues. With well over 1,000 concerts performed, his showmanship has kept rigorous pace with his song craft. From the uncertainty of New York City, to the serenity of the Carolina Lowcountry, his musical blend has found a comfortable home.
